YOU'RE TELLING ME TO DANCE
My favorite line in the movie, Jerry Maguire, was in the scene where sports agent Maguire, played by Tom Cruise, was trying to communicate with wide receiver Rod Tidwell, played by Cuba Gooding, what he had to go through day to day to be his agent. Tidwell won't listen to Maguire's advice to cut down on the showboating. Finally, in exasperation, Maguire says to Tidwell, "Help me. Help me, Rod. Help me, help you. Help me, help you. Help me, help you."
It's impossible to adequately communicate the emphasis Cruise put on "me" and "you" in the last two lines, but it's hilarious. Tidwell just cracks up at Maguire's emphasis. If you haven't seen it yet, you should check it out. Click here to watch the scene

This means that if you are lucky enough to get offers, they will tend to be lower.

Probably the most convincing reason to list with an agent who is a member of the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) is because of the unbeatable Internet marketing any listing will get. Although many FSBO owners may not realize it, people generally find properties they are interested in differently than they did in the past. To most, the Internet now plays an integral role in their search.
Once I list your property in the MLS, your home will be instantly accessible to anyone who has the Internet. Although I will work hard to find a buyer for your home, any other agent who is a member of the MLS can also show your home to potential buyers. Most agents have pools of clients that are serious about buying. Once it is in the MLS, these agents can match your property to their serious buyers.
